Dear Colleagues,
This is the Third Announcement of the 8th Edition of the European Conference Workshop “Nonlinear Maps and Their Applications” (NOMA-2024) which will be held on January, 17-19, 2024, at the Universidade do Porto (Portugal).
The conference is organized by University of Évora and University of Porto and hosted by University of Porto.
Please note that the deadline to submit the abstract, for NOMA 2024, has been extended until 10-January-2024.
We are pleased to have the following invited speakers: Delfim Torres (University of Aveiro), Diego Luis Gonzalez (University of Bologna), Julyan Cartwright (University of Granada), José Ferreira Alves (University of Porto) and Jorge Zubelli (Khalifa University).
Among others, the following topics will be presented in the framework of the Conference:
- Topological, Differential, Ergodic Aspects of the Theory of Nonlinear Maps
- Bifurcations and Applications of Nonlinear Maps.
- Biological sciences: Biological systems analysis, modelling and simulation
- Synchronization
- Game Theory.
3 meetings will take place simultaneously, with a common program:

– NODBIF (https://www.dynalife.eu/porto-2024) and
– IEEE Circuits and Systems Society satellite event related to the DEI (Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusion Activities of CAS Society

There will be a special issue of the Journal of Dynamics and Games (JDG) that will include articles from the NOMA and NOBDIF. We invite you and members of your group (including students and PhD students) to participate in this Conference.
